Rock Fest

So much fun at Rock Fest with Ana!

I was sad, however, that I missed After Midnight Project’s performance. All because Stephen lost a receipt. Long story…
BUT it was fun anyway :)
Bury Your Dead was great, Static X had an awkward top-less girl dancing on stage…if you want to call it dancing. Black Label Society was gross! I don’t know why people like them. If you ask me they are major Divas. Bleck! Mudvayne and Korn were amazing as predicted…even if Korn took forever to finish :)

But, where Ana and I were standing there was a pregnant lady who thought she could have special treatment because she was pregnant. Ok, I guess she does…but not at a ROCK concert. And Ana and I both agree that that loud of music can’t be good for the baby. But we were standing near a bar that fenced in the pit from everyone else and people had been asking to jump over and whatever so I let them through. But then this jerk comes along and acts like he is gonna jump the fence so I move because I don’t want to get smacked in the face and the jerk took my spot and sat on the fence! HOW RUDE! I was like, “REALLY!?”

And then Ana parked on the retarded side of the parking lot. We sat there for a good 2 hours before being able to actually get onto the highway. Then, my advice to you, is to NEVER EVER go to a McDonald’s at 1 am. They are dumb. We had to repeat our order at least 3 times before a supervisor came and took over. After the parking lot incident, Ana and I just had enough. FML was the theme of the night :P

Demi Lovato concert tonight. Yeah, I have random tastes in music. I’m going from Korn and Mudvayne yesterday, to Demi Lovato tonight, to BLINK 182, Fall Out Boy, Pomeroy, Dirty Little Rabbits, and Panic at the Disco tomorrow at River Riot. Can’t wait!

Why is money so mean?

So, I am finally transferring as of now. The 28th is my first day at the store in the new mall. Only bad thing is that my car is a piece of crap. Ok, not really. But a bunch of gaskets are leaking and/or broken and it is going to cost close to 415 dollars. I don’t even have half of that because stupid Transformers had to come out so I had to buy midnight tickets online for me and Ana costing me 22 dollars. I could have at least 180 dollars if I hadn’t had to do that! Transformers was worth it though…the 22 dollars, not the set back in getting my car fixed because I have no air conditioning and this next week is supposed to stay about 90 degree weather! And I wear black pants for work! Which leads me to the question that is my title: WHY IS MONEY SO MEAN?

I think we should start bartering with rocks…there are PLENTY of those lying around…

Now it is fun!

I am sooo happy!
I’m finally getting things together for my new business! At first it was a little bit of a hassle and even now it isn’t completelly just do whatever, but it is getting there. And it will be a while before I can just make my product and not worry about whatever else is driving me up the wall right now! My website will be up soon. I shall post the link here. Save the Drama for Yo Mama

Yeah, so, I have graduated as of the 21st of May…yay me!
BUT, at my Hallmark store my store manager transfered to another mall and now we have our old assistant manager as our new store manager. I didn’t like the assistant to start with so now that she is manager I extremely don’t like her.

Before the old manager, Shannen, left we got a new assistant because the old one, Denise (who is now the new manager), got transfered to another store. The new assistant is Melissa. So, while Shannen was still in the store she trained Melissa and seemed like everyone at our store liked her. Well…

Then Shannen left and Denise came in. Denise and Melissa do not get along and now it seems like EVERYONE has some type of problem with Melissa. Everyone has issues with the schedule, which she currently makes, and goes right to Denise who then undermines Melissa and fixes it or they just complain and talk about her behind her back. OR, one other Key Holder opened and Melissa didn’t empty the trash because it wasn’t full and the Key Holder wanted Denise to see it.

When I conversed with Shannen over this whole drama issue, she thought it was all stupid. I feel bad for Melissa and since she said it was ok I am very much going to transfer to the store Shannen is at.

It Has Come…

Finally! The laptop I have been waiting for is FINALLY here!!!
YAY!

While it isn’t the stunning purple that I thought it would be – it is more of an eggplant- I still absolutely LOVE it! Haha.
I can’t wait to play with it all day tomorrow after work! Yes, I will still have to do chores and what not…but right now…I could really care less! And, I figured, since this computer comes with Windows Live Writer which posts to my blog…that I would try it out. Maybe I’ll post later tonight too…but it doesn’t look like anyone reads it anyway! :P

House of Night

I just wanted to put this out there. Not sure who all reads this but anyone who stumbles across this post should take into SERIOUS consideration reading the House of Night Series by P.C. and Kristen Cast. It is amazing!! If you love the Twilight Series and the Vampire Academy Series this one is right up there with them...probably a little past Vampire Academy. And, to be honest, it is incompareable with the Twilight Series. Twilight was more romantic and, while it has romance (kinda), House of Night is a lot more action and save-the-world plot but with an amazingly different spin. It isn't the same old joe schmoe superman saves the day plot.

This series is dark and funny while also having a depth that I personally didn't expect. It is in first person in the view of the heroine (duh) of Zoey Redbird. I read the first one a looooooonnng time ago and then one of my friends wanted to borrow it so I lent it to her and decided to persue the other three that were out at the time. Then, BAM! I found the fifth one. I had to get it even though I had no money...lets just say I turned over my house looking for quarters and dimes and nickles and I do NOT think the lady who rang me up was happy :P

Now that I devoured them, roughly one to two days (work is such a drag when it tears me away from the pages) was as long as it took me to read them, I am sadly waiting for the sixth book. It may sound like that is way to many books to a series but believe me, it is worth it. Unfortunatly it doesn't come out unitl around Halloween...so I am deprived for six months....
